Founding Director of Gandiva Tim Bismark will participate in the 4th Stage of the ARCHERY WORLD CUP-Compound Division, which will be held in Shanghai - China, August 4- 9, 2009. Only four (4) archers from each participating country will be allowed to play in each category.
Tim will be competing with fellow Filipino archers Kit Cojuangco and Dondon Sombreo.

The Korea Archery Association has invited Gandiva to participate in the Archery World Championships 2009, Ulsan which will be held September 1-9 , 2009 in Ulsan, Korea.

Tim Bismark, Founding Director of Gandiva, will coach his son-- Elijah Bismark in the Recurve Event. Elijah, just 13 years old, has given prestige in the Philippine archery scene winning Overall Gold Medal in the Olympic Round of the South East Asian Standard Bow Competition in 2006 when he was barely 10 years old.
